2009 Membership Drive

Become a Charter Member!

Help our beautiful neighborhood continue on its path towards becoming a great example of how historic districts can both maintain their charm and character, and at the same time, also adapt to the needs of 21st century residents. Join and become a member this year to show your support for the place you call home!

Why does having a strong membership base benefit York Chester?

• Recognition by the City and County that our members and residents care about our neighborhood and are interested in policies or actions that may impact us.
• Allowing for more inclusion and input from members and residents about matters of importance to our neighborhood.
• Ability to connect formally and informally with your neighbors with an annual meeting and other events throughout the year.
• Maintenance and growth of your own personal investment in York Chester ‐ your home ‐ through a strong membership based neighborhood association.

What are your dues used for?
•  To assist with the costs of producing and distributing our quarterly newsletter and to also provide some of the necessary funding towards several key events such as the Candlelight Home Tour, Neighborhood Yard Sale and Fall Fling.
• We will also begin to designate portions of our membership dues towards projects that will enhance or improve our neighborhood’s physical appearance.
As a Member, you will know how your membership dues are used as reports will be provided to you at our annual Members meeting.

Our annual dues are:
$20 per home for Residents of York Chester (click here to see map)
$30 for nonresident Friends of York Chester
$40 for Business Supporters of York Chester
